On Worth
Your price is not the value of “your thing”.
Neither is it representative of your worth.
When you see someone you respect selling something at a low price, you don't automatically decide their work is cheap.
You consider the offer.
The timing.
The purpose.
The person behind it.
But when you forget who you are and you put out your offer, the number becomes a verdict.
You make it evidence that people can't afford you…
or they don't value you…
or that your work isn't good enough.
You start fussing that you're not where you should be. You get agitated when "the market research" gave you a number you don't agree with.
So what really happened?
You gave that number a story.
Remember: price communicates the terms of an exchange. It was never qualified to dictate you who you are.
Now — you
What does this stir in you?
Say it in your own words. I read every one — and I'll come find you.
